About

Deborah L Flamino

Deborah has been working in recovery for the past 20 years, both formally and informally.  After spending her first 25 years as a professor of philosophy and world religions, Deborah decided to enter the business world as an executive assistant and as a human resources manager at a start-up in the new field of genomics.  Subsequently, Deborah became an addiction counselor.  Having spent her adult life studying the question, "What does it mean to be human?", she easily transitioned into counseling.  Now Deborah offers her expertise in 3 areas: individual recovery, substance abuse professional for the Dept of Transportation and DUI assessments for the courts, Further, there is the incorporation within the services on addressing the questions: What does it mean to be human? How best to embody that knowledge in the hope of living a more pain-free life?
